The recent glorious good weather was the ideal time to renew acquaintance with many of the classic climbs found in the 'Peak'. Basing ourselves at the Bob Downes CC hut at Froggatt, the Saturday was spent climbing on Stanage Edge where many old favourites were ascended as well as some routes climbed for the first time. Highlights were Millsom's Minion, Left Unconquerable, Sunday Blue, Telli, Paradise Wall and Dover's Wall.
On Sunday we moved over to Froggatt Edge and as the early mist lifted, routes climbed included old favourites such as Tody's Wall, Three Pebble Slab, Sunset Crack, Hawk's Nest Crack, Valkyrie, Diamond Cracks, Brown Crack, Trapeze, Slab Recess, Brown's Eliminate, Pedestal Crack, and Chequers Buttress. All that winter training on the wall must be paying off!
